The police presented Khadija Shah to the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) today; she is believed to be the prime suspect in the attack on Jinnah House, also known as the Lahore Corps Commander’s house. Who is Khadija Shah?

Khadija Shah was transferred to a women’s police station following her arrest on Tuesday. According to the Punjab Police, a woman has been arrested for her alleged involvement as a prime instigator in the May 9 attacks on the Lahore Corps Commander House, which resulted in extensive damage. The police have confirmed her arrest.

According to reports, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party followers attacked the Corps Commander House on May 9 and set the building ablaze. The attack occurred following the arrest of party chairman Imran Khan on charges of corruption related to the Al-Qadir Trust case. Khadija Shah, a well-known vocal supporter of the PTI, has been accused of terrorism in a FIR filed with the Sarwar Road police.

Dr. Salman Shah, a prominent figure in the political and financial spheres, has an impressive track record of service to the Pakistani government. He previously held positions as a member of former President Parvez Musharraf’s finance team and as an advisor in the Punjab government during the Usman Buzdar administration. Notably, Dr. Shah is also the father of the individual in question. The individual in question happens to be the granddaughter of former Army Staff General Asif Nawaz Janjua.

It is noteworthy that the details furnished about Khadija Shah’s alleged participation in the assault on the Lahore Corps Commander’s residence are not connected to her fashion profession. The circumstances of her detention as a suspect and the incident in question are distinct from her professional pursuits.
