Phil Bland, British YouTuber Exposes Indian Fans’ Hatred Against Pakistan

A short video capturing the interactions between Phil Bland and Indian cricket fans has gone viral on social media, drawing attention for the shocking comments made by the Indian fans against Pakistan.

Renowned British YouTuber, Phil Bland, recently made headlines when he witnessed the highly-anticipated clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India during the World Cup 2023 in Ahmedabad on October 14.

During the India-Pakistan match, Phil Bland engaged in conversations with some Indian supporters in the stadium, probing their feelings towards Pakistan.

In the video, Phil Bland can be seen asking the Indian supporters whether they believe there are any good Pakistani people. To the surprise of many, one of the Indian supporters responded with a straightforward and resounding “NO.”

Attempting to bridge the gap and emphasize the presence of good people on both sides of the border, Phil Bland stated, “I know many good Indian people, and I know many good Pakistani people.” However, one of the Indian supporters remained firm in their stance, saying, “According to our Indian history, we don’t like Pakistan, and we also hate terrorism.”

Another Indian fan made a controversial comment, alleging, “There was a rule of Pakistanis during which they committed horrific acts of terrorism against our Indian women.”

These negative sentiments and deep-seated hostility were not limited to the stadium alone. Incidents of abuse directed at the Pakistani side by Indian fans in Ahmedabad have further underscored the tensions surrounding the India-Pakistan cricket rivalry during the World Cup 2023.

While the video has sparked debate on social media, it also highlights the problems and complexities inherent in the relationship between the two cricketing nations. India and Pakistan’s cricket rivalry has been a source of intense emotions, passion, and at times controversy.
