Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said the people of the province love to play and watch cricket, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.
He was talking at the dinner hosted in honor of the national cricketers on Saturday.
“We have provided an entertainment opportunity to the people of Balochistan and competitions will be held in the future too in other sports including cricket.”
The Chief Minister said that holding the match in Quetta is a message that peace has been restored in the province.
“We are grateful to players and PCB officials for giving us the opportunity to hold this mega event,” he said, adding that the people of Balochistan are hospitable and welcome their guests from the core of the heart.
We thanked Najam Sethi, Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmad, and Shahid Afridi for giving us immense pleasure, added Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.
Balochistan said that there is no dearth of talent in Balochistan and sports fields will give our youth an opportunity to express their talents.
Sports are among the priorities of the Balochistan government, he hinted.
