Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claimed on Thursday that only his party could steer the county out of current crises, as it had a very clear manifesto for people’s welfare.
Addressing a public gathering a Tandlianwala here, he said the PPP enjoyed masses’ support because of its public welfare agenda and unprecedented sacrifices, offered by its leadership for democracy in Pakistan. He said the PPP would re-emerge as a leading force in the general election 2024.
He said he had come to Tandlianwala to seek the support of the people, acknowledging the historic support the PPP had received from them for Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, adding that no force in the world could stop their path. Bilawal said that he is delighted to be among the jiyalas of the Party in Punjab. Some forces were under the impression that by martyring Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto they can eliminate the PPP and will be able to crush the poor and stop your way.
“I want to give the message to them that we are not the ones who bowdown and retreat”, Chairman Bilawal said adding “We are the ones who are ready to contest against all the political forces and prove that the Bhutto of Punjab is still alive and we will snatch back our rights. We will save the people from the anti-poor, anti-grower and anti-people parties that have been imposed in Punjab.”
