LAHORE– Expressing disappointment over the Nawaz-Modi meeting, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Liaqat Baloch called India the biggest hurdle in talks between the two countries.
In a statement today, Baloch said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had avoided taking a clear stance during the meeting. He also criticized Nawaz for not raising the issue of Indian aggression at the border along with India’s involvement in terrorism within Pakistan.
Liaqat Baloch also exposed India’s brutal attitude in Kashmir. “Prime Minister should not fall into India’s trap of fake diplomacy,” he said.
Earlier, MQM leader Altaf Hussain also questioned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for not uttering a single word on the issue of Kashmir.
Also, the JI acting chief expressed great satisfaction over Pakistan becoming a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Meanwhile, Liaqat Baloch met former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad and discussed matters of mutual interest.
