ISLAMABAD: Emergence of three major factions in PTI has opened floodgate of woes for Imran Khan as the embattled groups value personal interests over party interests.
PTI chief Imran Khan has issued directives to members to bury their differences and organize the party for playing a proactive role of opposition in the Parliament.
The three major factions include Hamid Khan group, Jahangir Tareen group and Shireen Mazari group.
According to our sources, Shah Mehmood Qureshi is with Hamid Khan group.
Also, the recent decision of judicial commission regarding rigging allegations has triggered the differences between party members.
Imran Khan has cautioned members to avoid factionalism, which he believes can damage PTI’s repute.
