The BRICS+ Fashion Summit kicks off in Moscow on Tuesday and aims to bring together designers, industry experts, entrepreneurs, media and fashion enthusiasts to talk about the future of fashion.
The summit is being held at the Zaryadye concert hall in the iconic Zaryadye Park from November 28 to December 2.
The summit includes a business programme, B2B showroom, fashion intensive course, fashion shows by local and international designers, and the showcasing of award-winning international short films on fashion.
The summit boats over 60 delegations and 200 speakers, including some from Pakistan. There will be 12 shows held throughout the city during the summit.
The panel discussions are on a diverse range of topics, from ethical fashion and cultural appropriation to whether AI can replace stylists, designers and fashion journalists.
The BRICS+ Fashion Summit is a continuation of the Moscow Fashion Week initiative. The country’s first Fashion Week took place in Moscow in June 2022.
