RAHIM YAR KHAN:
At least eight people, including a woman, were killed in a clash between two tribes in the Machka area of Rahim Yar Khan on Wednesday.
Reportedly, armed individuals from the Shar and Kosh communities attacked the Solangi Salera community.
Two of the attackers were also reportedly killed.

A police spokesperson said the clashes were due to long-standing enmity between the two tribes and there were casualties on both sides.
The local SHO reached the site of the clashes with armoured vehicles and personnel of the Elite Force to restore order, however, an exchange of fire was ongoing in the area.
Earlier, unknown assailants riding on motorbikes shot dead a cousin of Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) MPA Sardar Mir Ghulam Abid Khan Sundrani on the Indus Highway in Ghouspur area.

The police believe that the incident was result of a personal enmity. A number of people have been killed in the blood feud between the Sawan and Sundrani tribes.
