Naqvi visits children’s home, reviews facilities for destitute residents

LAHORE: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Anjuman-i-Sulaimania Children’s Home on Sunday to review the facilities provided to destitute children.

He also spoke with the children to inquire about their education and extracurricular activities and visited their rooms to get a firsthand view of their living conditions.

During his visit, Naqvi directed the doctors of the Children’s Hospital to conduct a medical examination of all the children.

He expressed his heartbreak at the state of affairs at the Children’s Home during his previous visit but was pleased to see that the facilities for the children had improved.

The chief minister stressed the importance of caring for children and following the Sunnah of the Prophet. He emphasized that it is the government’s responsibility to take care of these children in every possible manner.
