Ned Doha, located in the middle of West Bay, offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf and the cityscape. Let’s explore!
The Middle East is no stranger to luxurious hotels and private clubs, but the newest addition is already creating ripples. Ned Doha is a brand-new hotel and members’ club that has recently opened in the capital of Qatar.
The Ned Doha, a deluxe hotel and members club, inaugurated in January 2023 as the third site and first property in the Middle East for the London-based brand. The hotel’s 90 rooms and suites pay respect to the 1960s architectural design by Lebanese architect William Sednaoui, while being rebuilt by David Chipperfield Architects Berlin.
The hotel includes pleasant mid-century interiors and décor by Soho House Design, and many of the original architectural elements have been preserved. Each of the hotel’s 250 rooms and suites is built with modern elegance and convenience in mind. Guests may choose from a variety of accommodation styles, including Deluxe, Premier, and Executive Suites, all of which have modern conveniences and luxurious finishes.
The Corniche suites are the most spacious choice, ranging in size from 936 to 1,119 square feet and including an emperor-sized bed, walk-in wardrobe, and two balconies with breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf and Doha’s city centre. All of the rooms of the Ned Doha include Sednaoui’s original coffered stone ceilings. Palace View suites vary in size from 840 to 1023 square feet and have a dining space, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and views of the adjacent Doha Palace.
As guests arrive at the Ned Doha, they are met outside the hotel by personnel who take care of their baggage. Within the hotel, the hotel staff greets them by name and welcomes them to the hotel and Qatar. The check-in procedure is swift, and visitors are given two key cards before being guided by the concierge to the closest elevator.
In accordance with customary Middle Eastern hospitality, visitors are handed a bowl of Medjool dates from Morocco in lieu of a welcome drink. There are not butlers in every room, but the hotel’s concierge is available to assist with everything from room service to turn-down service.
The Ned Doha will become one of Qatar Airlines’ Doha stopovers, and in eight months, a new off-site property, the Doha Club, will become a component of the Ned Doha. The Ned Doha is destined to become a premier destination for luxury tourists in the Middle East and beyond, thanks to its exquisite design, opulent facilities, and superior service.
Yet, what distinguishes Ned Doha from other luxury hotels is its members’ club. The club has a rooftop infinity pool, a workout facility, a spa, and various dining choices, among other attractions. In addition, members get access to private conference rooms, event venues, and a concierge service.
The club is meant to accommodate a variety of members, from business visitors to residents seeking an upscale social atmosphere. Memberships are accessible to both people and corporations, with a variety of advantages and privileges to meet the requirements of each member.
Nick Jones, creator of Soho House, introduces his distinctive combination of luxury and exclusivity to the Middle East for the first time with Ned Doha. The hotel and club are intended to be a centre of innovation and culture, with regular events and programming to build a feeling of community among members.
Ned Doha is a welcome addition to the Middle Eastern hospitality market, providing discriminating guests and locals a new level of luxury and exclusivity. Whether you are in town for business or pleasure, your stay at the Ned Doha will be a wonderful one.
